Hole.io's concept is almost too simple to describe: control a hole in the ground, consume objects and people to grow larger, then consume the opposing holes before time runs out. The execution of this minimal premise is what elevates it above similar Voodoo titles.

Simple and Competitive

The multiplayer format creates genuine tension as large holes hunt small ones while the small ones desperately seek safe targets. The growth curve — from swallowing street signs to consuming entire buildings — is viscerally satisfying.

Verdict

Best enjoyed in short bursts. The concept is inherently limited, and the 3.0 rating reflects that honest assessment. For five minutes of pure mobile gaming satisfaction, though, it's excellent.
