What Is Granny?
Granny is a first-person horror survival game where you wake up trapped in a decrepit house with one goal: escape in five days without being caught by the terrifying old woman who lives there. She hears everything.
The Horror Loop
Each "day" resets when Granny catches you or you choose to sleep. You explore the house, find items, solve puzzles, and work toward unlocking the various escape routes — all while avoiding a pursuer with superhuman hearing. Drop something metal on the floor and she'll be on you within seconds.
Sound design is exceptional. The creaking floors, Granny's distant humming, and the sudden crack of her footsteps approaching are masterfully deployed to keep your heart rate elevated.
Replayability
With multiple difficulty settings, secret rooms, and several different escape methods, Granny offers genuine replayability. Speedrunning your escape or finding routes you missed previously keeps the game engaging well past the initial fear-fueled runs.
What We Think
Granny is a near-perfect mobile horror experience. It's scary without being cheap, challenging without being unfair, and short enough per session to fit into any schedule. Essential for horror fans.
